The quest to reveal the truth has resumed. As promised, How Come Nobody Ever Apologizes to Michael Jackson Part 2: The Lead-Up to the Trial has arrived, and much to my surprise, it is already a bestseller in certain places. This follows three weeks of charting achievements for Part 1, and I am thrilled…for Michael. He has long deserved for the media to tell the truth about what happened in his cases, and I hope this can be the start of a change. More importantly, I have created this body of work for the long run…something that can go beyond my lifetime and can be used as a resource for decades and centuries to come. Part 2 picks up where Part 1 left off (the aftermath of the 1994 settlement for the Chandler case), and ends with Jackson’s civil rights ultimately being violated again during the 2005 trial. Part 3 will conclude the series, and from there wide expansion will begin, starting with audiobooks for each respective part.
The plan is to roll out the accompanying podcast in January, once we’ve tackled some of the wider distribution. In the meantime, also accompanying this release is the official Apologize to MJ website created by Decked Out’s VP, Andrew Greene. This includes a dossier for each part that provides clear-cut looks at the court filings, transcripts, warrants, medical records, press clippings, and FBI findings that are in each part (Part 1 is now live).

While people are still in the early phases of reading Part 2, the first part now has several official 5-star reviews. “It isn’t a fluffy piece or a collection of emotional hot takes; it’s cold, hard, black-and-white proof of how a massive machine set out to tear a human being down,” says one reader, with another adding, “Not only did she analyze; she breaks down every layer of everything that gets sensationalized and manipulated by the media. This is what outstanding journalism looks like. Her research resources in this book are incredible to have in one place.”
The third and final part releases on October 18.
