Talk about flipping the script. For years, the full-size performance truck market has been dominated by extreme off-road pre-runners like the TRX and RHO. Now, Ram is changing things up a bit by reviving its street-performance legacy with the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee.

Marking the brand’s first dedicated street-focused performance pickup since the iconic Dodge Ram SRT-10 of the mid-2000s, the new Rumble Bee family arrives as a dedicated four-tier lineup engineered for pavement grip, rapid acceleration and aggressive stance.

Unlike its off-road siblings, every Rumble Bee sits on a specialized Quad Cab, short-bed frame with a 13-inch shorter wheelbase to cut chassis flex by a reported 10%. Furthermore, according to the company, to plant power to the tarmac, Ram widened the front track by 6.8 inches and the rear track by 7 inches, giving the truck a lowered, muscular footprint.

V-8 Powertrains, Track Specs and Acceleration

V-8 power sits at the core of the Rumble Bee strategy, with Ram offering three distinct engine setups paired with standard full-time four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission:

• Base Rumble Bee ($62,790): Powered by the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8, putting down 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Features 22-inch wheels, LED lighting, a flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters, and a rear spoiler.
• Rumble Bee 392 ($72,790): Steps up to the 6.4-liter “Apache” V-8, cranking out 470 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. Upgrades interior trim with Prowler Yellow stitching, a 10-speaker Alpine system, and a 12-inch touchscreen.
• Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack ($82,790): Retains the 470-hp 6.4L V-8 but adds high-performance hardware: air suspension, massive 16.1-inch front Brembo brakes, launch control, and an “E-spool” rear axle lock feature built for controlled burnouts.
• Rumble Bee SRT ($97,790): The crown jewel of the lineup weaponizes a 6.2-liter Supercharged Hemi V-8 delivering an incredible 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. Capable of launching from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds with an 11.6-second quarter-mile time.

Trim Features and Release Schedule

Inside, Ram scales the luxury alongside the performance metrics. The flagship SRT gets premium Natura Plus leather and suede seating with Desert Orange accent stitching, real carbon-fiber interior accents, a suede headliner, a massive 14.5-inch infotainment display, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio setup.

Exterior visual options across the range include matte-black hood striping and classic bedside Rumble Bee graphics, alongside an available Blacktop Package for the SRT that coats the roof and hood in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl.

The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee family will officially arrive at dealerships starting in late 2026 through the first half of 2027.
