It’s the collaboration we didn’t see coming. In an unprecedented crossover bridging luxury automotive design and digital warfare, Aston Martin has officially pulled back the curtain on the Dreadnought—a digital-only, military-specification tactical SUV built exclusively for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
Developed in direct collaboration with game developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision, the aggressive concept merges Aston Martin’s high-performance heritage with the virtual landscapes of the Call of Duty universe.

High Luxury Meets Heavy Ballistic Armor
Conceived by the luxury brand’s official design team in Gaydon, the designers enjoyed complete creative freedom without the manufacturing limitations of the physical world. However, they kept the vehicle’s handling, weight, and center of gravity grounded within the realistic physics engine of the Modern Warfare universe. The tactical all-wheel-drive vehicle boasts the unmistakable, bone-shaking roar of a real-world, full-blooded V12 Aston Martin engine.
”Every element, from early concepting through to animation, geometry, and in‑game physics and propulsion, was carefully engineered to deliver a high‑performance armored vehicle that stays true to Aston Martin’s distinctive design philosophy and an armored exterior, a large gas tank and the most aggressive all-wheel drive in Modern Warfare 4,” says Jack O’Hara, Co-Studio Head, Infinity Ward, lead development studio of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series via press release.
”The Dreadnought isn’t just a digital vehicle; it’s a strategic gateway for a younger, global audience to experience our ultra-luxury DNA. By pushing the boundaries of virtual engineering, we are ensuring that the spirit of Aston Martin resonates powerfully with the luxury consumers of tomorrow,” adds Stefano Saporetti, Director of Brand Diversification, Aston Martin.
At launch, players can scout out and pilot the armored SUV at designated points of interest throughout both the high-stakes DMZ extraction playlists and the massive combat arenas of Call of Duty: Warzone. While a typical Aston Martin is usually found parked outside five-star hotels and luxury estates, the heavily armed Dreadnought simply has a much more adventurous commute.
