Storyline
At her birth in the realm of Frell, young Ella of Frell receives a spell from the well-meaning but reckless fairy Lucinda: the “gift” of absolute obedience. Completely incapable of refusing any direct order given to her, Ella keeps her condition a secret to protect herself. When her father remarries a cruel socialite whose selfish daughters exploit her curse, Ella embarks on a quest across the kingdom to locate Lucinda and break the spell. Along the road, she crosses paths with Prince Charmont, an elf named Slannen who dreams of practicing law, and a kingdom suffering under the tyrannical rule of the Prince’s uncle, Sir Edgar.
