It’s a great time to be a New York Knicks fan. Fresh off the Knicks’ first NBA championship in 53 years, Karl-Anthony Towns made sure to give a special shoutout to fiancée Jordyn Woods during the team’s appearance on Good Morning America. Towns joined teammates Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges and Josh Hart for their first national morning show interview following the Knicks’ Game 5 championship victory, and during the segment, Towns praised Woods and the now-famous playoff bag from her fashion brand, Woods by Jordyn.

“That bag is undoubtedly one of the greatest articles of clothing New York has ever seen,” Towns said. “It’s had a run, for sure, undefeated in the playoffs. Woods by Jordyn, for sure, got it done for us.” The NBA champion continued by thanking Woods for her impact throughout the team’s postseason run. “So shout out to her and shout out to what she’s been able to do with the world and with that bag, because New York has a lot to thank her for,” he added.

It goes without saying that Woods has been a visible presence throughout the Knicks’ playoff journey, with fans online frequently referencing her signature playoff bag as a good-luck charm during the team’s historic championship run.

And now it’s also safe to say that she can never publicly wear it again. It has to go in the closet for safekeeping.

The Knicks’ title marks the franchise’s first NBA championship since 1973.
