Fast-food collaborations have become a cultural event in their own right, and Wendy’s latest partnership is leaning fully into the chaos.

Launching nationwide today, June 15, Wendy’s is introducing its new Minions & Monsters Meal, a limited-time collaboration inspired by Illumination’s upcoming animated film Minions & Monsters, which arrives in theaters on July 1. The promotion combines exclusive collectibles, themed menu items and a brand-new Frosty in a, you guessed it, banana flavor that is right on-theme. The frozen treat that blends the chain’s signature Vanilla Frosty with a sweet banana cream sauce, paying homage to the mischievous yellow characters, whose love of bananas has become one of the franchise’s most recognizable running gags.

What’s Included in the Deal?

The adult Minions & Monsters Meal includes a choice of a Big Bacon Classic or Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Hot & Crispy Fries, a Banana Frosty Swirl, and one of four exclusive blind-box collectibles. The mystery collectibles are expected to be a major draw for fans and collectors, continuing the growing trend of fast-food brands turning meals into limited-edition merchandise experiences. Wendy’s is also expanding the promotion beyond food. Two themed Coca-Cola Freestyle beverages—Pineapple Minion MischieFizz and Goomi’s Glimey Lime—join the lineup, adding even more movie-inspired flavor to the campaign.

For younger fans, the Minions & Monsters Kids’ Meal is already available and includes one of six collectible toys based on characters from the film. The kids’ offering continues Wendy’s strategy of creating family-focused promotions that extend beyond the traditional toy-in-a-box experience.
