Officially opening pre-orders on August 27, 2026, the brand has revealed the Xbox 25th Anniversary Collection, which is headlined by the Series X25 Limited Edition console and a standalone matching wireless controller.

Both the console and controller utilize a translucent “OG Green” outer casing, allowing players to peek through the shell to see internal hardware components underneath. But there are some other things in the mix for this 25th anniversary celebration.

To reinforce its status as a true collector’s piece, Microsoft is individually numbering every single Series X25 console with a custom laser engraving. The chassis also features subtle easter eggs, graphics, and historic nods celebrating landmark titles, notable evolutions and community moments spanning the platform’s quarter-century history.

Bundled With ‘Halo: Campaign Evolved’

To complete the retro homage, every Xbox Series X25 package includes a full-game download code for Halo: Campaign Evolved.
