Is it 2019 again? Apparently so, according to Marvel, who, ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, is bringing Avengers Endgame back into theaters with new under-the-hood adjustments, color grade tweaks and brand-new footage designed to tease the MCU’s next phase.
While the core narrative remains untouched—following the surviving Avengers on their high-stakes time heist to reverse Thanos’ snap—Marvel has subtly adjusted the film’s presentation for this special run.

Key updates to the Encore cut include:
- Remastered Color Grading: Climax battle sequences featuring Thanos and his invading army now feature punchier contrast and richer saturation compared to the home digital release.
- Dialogue Tweaks: Select lines, including key phrasing from Tony Stark, have been subtlely modified and re-mixed for stronger dramatic weight.
IMAX-Exclusive Teaser for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
But that’s not all, either. Screenings held in IMAX and Disney’s Infinity Vision formats will feature approximately four minutes of unreleased material.
Rather than simple behind-the-scenes bloopers, this exclusive footage is explicitly engineered to act as a narrative bridge leading directly into Avengers: Doomsday later this year.

It’s been a minute since I’ve seen Endgame, and while nothing will top that experience (that was a moment in time that can’t be duplicated), I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing it again, encore style.
