None other than the California 1.0, which is back and better than ever with its instantly-recognizable sculpted, backless design and lightweight EVA technology. The highly anticipated drop arrives alongside the Los Feliz, an entirely fresh molded foam shape built for comfort, ease and everyday movements.

Both minimal silhouettes are available now directly through the Fear of God online storefront for an MSRP of $150 USD.

The Features

The California 1.0 features its staple sculpted, backless identity but updates the build with subtle new design choices, including an Essentials bar detail and a debossed logo. On the other side of the drop, the brand-new Los Feliz acts as a fresh expression of the laid-back California lifestyle, pulling clean lines directly from the deep Fear of God design archive. The comfort is present as well, as both models are crafted using specialized injection-molding techniques, ensuring they are built for daily wear. Additionally, the both silhouettes utilize XL EXTRALIGHT® EVA technology to ensure the footwear remains soft underfoot, completely water-resistant, and highly durable over long periods of time.

The Earth Tones

Grounded by the sub-label’s signature monochromatic aesthetic, the drop rolls out across a highly curated, versatile palette of earth tones. The baseline collection includes five mutual colorways: Almond, Beige, Clay, Oyster, and Travertine.

Transitioning straight into the peak summer season, Fear of God Essentials has also assigned a unique exclusive shade to each distinct model. A cool-toned Mineral colorway is available exclusively for The California 1.0, while a soft Overcast hue can be found only on the new Los Feliz.
