Created by John A. Davis and originating from 1990s shorts featuring a boy genius named Johnny Quasar, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius hit theaters in December 2001. The computer-animated film follows 10-year-old genius Jimmy Neutron (Debi Derryberry) and his robot dog Goddard in Retroville. When an alien race known as the Yokians abducts all the adults in town, Jimmy unites Retroville’s kids to build a fleet of makeshift spacecraft out of amusement park rides and embark on an intergalactic rescue mission.
