Japanese watchmaking giant Seiko is once again proving why it dominates the anime crossover market. Teaming up with the legendary dark fantasy series Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Seiko has unveiled a striking collaborative wristwatch dedicated entirely to the show’s iconic protagonist, the Fullmetal Alchemist himself, Edward Elric, and the result is a beautiful one. Arriving in a versatile 39.8mm stainless steel case, the timepiece masterfully blends real-world horology with the visual identity of Amestris.

The watch features a deep black dial sharply contrasted by vivid gold and red accents, while the color layout serves as an instant nod to Edward’s signature crimson cloak and his mechanical automail arm. Subtle, gear-like industrial motifs encircle the inner dial, mirroring the intricate inner workings of alchemy and automail tech. The real crown jewel, however, sits on the case back, as turning the watch over reveals a custom screw-down back engraved with the official Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhoodbranding, a unique limited-edition serial number, and a deeply emotional piece of series history: “Don’t forget 3. OCT. 11”.

But that’s not all either. The premium experience extends all the way to the presentation. The watch comes packaged in a custom collector’s box decorated with series-specific artwork and elegant silver foil stamping.
