Mercedes-AMG has pulled back the curtain on the all-new 2027 GT 4-Door Coupe, completely ditching internal combustion to become the brand’s definitive all-electric flagship. Per the brand, the vehicle is built from the ground up on a specialized AMG-exclusive architecture, lightweight composites, steel and aluminum to maintain the features the brand is known and loved for, while dropping the car’s overall center of gravity.

Inside, the cabin leans heavily into digital luxury. The cockpit is anchored by a three-display layout—including a tilted 14.0-inch central touchscreen and a dedicated passenger monitor—overseen by the proprietary AMG Race Engineer supercomputer. For performance purists missing the analog soul of the brand, an integrated ForceSport+ mode deploys synthetic haptic feedback alongside an engineered audio soundtrack utilizing over 1,600 files to replicate a visceral V8 rumble.

The Release Schedule: Arrival & Pricing

• The Staggered Rollout: The rollout will happen in distinct waves. The entry-level, 816-horsepower GT 55 4MATIC+i s scheduled to land at U.S. dealerships first, arriving late this year. 
• The Price Tag: While official window stickers haven’t been locked down by Stuttgart, the cutting-edge tech inside the AMG.EA platform guarantees a premium entry barrier. Industry expectations place the base GT 55 starting north of the $100,000 mark, with fully spec’d GT 63 models expected to easily clear $150,000 when order books formally open.
